Long Term Residence Permit Fees for 2010
Fees are now calculated at £40 for the first month and £30 per month thereafter, per person.
The fees are now priced in Sterling but you must pay in Lira at whatever the exchange rate is at the time.

New applications for this region must be made at Aydin and an additional fee of 138TL will be charged for the little blue book - Renewals can be made at Aydin or Kusadasi - Payments must be in cash.
Documents Required For Long Term Residence Permit - New Applications:
1. 5 passport-size photos.
2. Your passport.
3. Photocopies of the following pages of your passport: the page bearing your photo, the page stamped at your last entry, the page where the validity and expiry dates are marked.
4. Your Turkish tax number (obtained free from Didim tax office).
5. The appropriate payment in cash.
Documents Required For Long Term Residence Permit - Renewal Applications:
1. 2 passport-size photos.
2. Your passport.
3. Photocopies of the following pages of your passport: the page bearing your photo, the page stamped at your last entry, the page where the validity and expiry dates are marked.
4. Your Turkish tax number (obtained free from Didim tax office).
5. The appropriate payment in cash.
6. Your existing residence permit (blue book).
Important Notes:
Documents required vary from district to district, in some districts you will be required to provide proof that you have enough money in a Turkish bank or monthly income to support yourself for the term of the permit. You may also be required to provide proof of where you are staying in Turkey.
The procedure:
1. Gather all your documents and cash and go to the main police station in either Aydin or Kusadasi.
2. See the officer, show your documents and state how long a permit you want. The officer will give you a docket for the tax office.
3. Go to the tax office and pay the fee, you will get a receipt.
4. Return to the police office, the officer will give you a form to fill in (in English), complete the form, give it to the officer along with your other documents and receipt from the tax office.
5. The officer will check everything, complete the police section of the form, give you back your passport and tell you to return in 2 weeks.
6. When you return to collect your permit take your passport.
