Excellent holiday in lovely apartment. Easy access to Akbuk itself, excellent amenities on site. Fabulous pool. Close to sea front- only ten minutes or so to walk.

We had a perfect holiday. The apartment was lovely with everything you need for your stay.
We used the pool every day which is situated very close to the apartment and most days were the only people using it.
There is a restaurant nearby which stayed open for us to have a light meal after our late arrival or we took a short taxi ride into Akbuk to eat in a lovely restaurant next to the sea watching the lovely sunsets.

A beatiful brand new appartement in a quiet and well maintained complex this accomodation has light and airy rooms with comfortable furnishings and balconies to the front and rear of the property meaning you can enjoy the fabulous weather all day long. There are several swimming pools and a small bar which are not overcrowded (although I did travel before the school holidays). All of the staff that take care of the complex are welcoming and willing to help.
Locally there are a wide range of shops which you can get to easily by walking along the beach front, getting the local bus which runs ever half hour or there are plenty taxis available. There are a couple of car hire places in Akbuk both of who seemed pretty helpful and reasonably priced. Akbuk itself has a good choice of shops and restaurants again run by very friendly people who can't do enough for you. The food is great value and there is loads to choose from. On Fridays there is a local market selling local produce and a wide selection of clothing, be prepared for a bit of friendly banter as the stall holders try to sell their wares and barter. I had never done this before and I got into it quite easily and didn't feel remotely intimidated.
The area is not over developed but there are some new complexes springing up, however there was very little building taking place during our stay, apparently this is because they stop building through the summer season so theres no worries about being disturbed.
A 30 minute car drive away is Altinkum which is a larger town and is very vibrant. The beach is beautiful and you can see Kos from the seafront. Some of the bars on the seafront have pontoons moored off the beach with sunbeds that are free to use as long as you buy drinks from the bar. A great idea and really relaxing.
The nearest airport is Bodrum and it takes about an hour and 20 minutes or so to get to Summer Breeze.
Personally I think this is a great place for couples, groups of friends wanting a reasonably quiet and relaxing break or families looking for a beach / poolside holiday with good food at a reasonable price.
